SIMHUB OFFLINE.Set up SimHub
Download PropertyServer.dll
Open the SimHub Property Server releases page. Under the newest release, open Assets and download PropertyServer.dll.
.dll file from Releases.Copy it into the SimHub folder
Close SimHub first. Then copy PropertyServer.dll into the SimHub installation folder, the same folder as SimHubWPF.exe. By default that’s:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\
Start SimHub and enable the plugin
Start SimHub. It detects the new plugin and asks whether to enable it. Click Yes. If it doesn’t ask, go to Settings → Plugins and tick Property Server.
New plugin detected
A new plugin was found: Property Server. Do you want to enable it?
To check it’s running, open Additional Plugins → Property Server in SimHub. It should say it’s listening on port 18082.
Install on Stream Deck
Install Pitlane Flags
In the Stream Deck app, open Marketplace, search for Pitlane Flags and click Install.
Accept the profile
Stream Deck asks to install the Pitlane Flags profile for your deck. Accept it. This is the page with a flag key on every button. You don’t need to open it; the plugin switches to it on its own.
Install profile?
The plugin Pitlane Flags would like to install the profile Pitlane Flags on your Stream Deck.
Test it
Run the demo
Select the Pitlane Flags profile in the Stream Deck app and press any key. All keys cycle through every flag. Press again to stop. Then switch back to your normal profile.
Before you’re in a session, the keys show one of these:
OFFLINE
Go racing
It runs in the background
Use your normal profile as usual. When a flag comes out, the deck switches to the flag profile and every key flashes that colour. About 1.5 seconds after the flag clears, it switches back to the profile you were on.
Press any key on the flag screen to dismiss it and go straight back. The deck won’t switch again for that same flag.
What each colour means
| Key | Flag | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Checkered | Chequered | Session finished |
| Black / white | Black | Penalty: pit or disqualification |
| Orange | Meatball | Car damaged: pit for repairs |
| Pink | Pit limiter | Your pit limiter is on |
| Yellow | Yellow | Danger ahead, no overtaking |
| Blue | Blue | Faster car behind, let it through |
| White | White | Slow car ahead (or last lap in some sims) |
| Green | Green | Track clear, racing resumes (shown for 10 s) |
If several are active, the one highest in this table wins. Which flags appear depends on the sim: not every sim sends every flag.
Extra keys
Find these under Pitlane Flags in the Stream Deck action list and drag them onto your normal profile.
Flag Status shows the current flag on one key, so you can see it without leaving your profile. It shows CLEAR when there’s no flag.
Auto-Switch turns the takeover on or off with one press, for example during qualifying.
Settings
Click any Pitlane Flags key in the Stream Deck app to open its settings. They apply to all Pitlane Flags keys.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Background | Switch to the flag profile automatically |
| Switch on | Which flags trigger the switch |
| Return after | Wait after a flag clears before switching back |
| Host / Port | Where SimHub runs. Leave as is unless SimHub is on another PC |
| Flash / speed | Flash the keys, and how fast |

| Green hold | How long green shows after it comes out |
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
Keys show SIMHUB OFFLINE | Check SimHub is running and Property Server is ticked in Settings → Plugins. Check the .dll is in the same folder as SimHubWPF.exe, then restart SimHub. |
Keys show NO GAME | Normal until a sim is running and SimHub detects it. Make sure the sim is selected in SimHub. |
| Deck never switches | Check Background is ticked and the flag is selected under Switch on. Check the Auto-Switch key isn’t set to OFF. |
| One flag never appears | Some sims don’t send every flag. Le Mans Ultimate needs SimHub’s rFactor 2 shared memory plugin, which SimHub offers to install when you set up the game. |
| Pitlane Flags copy in your profiles | Delete every Pitlane Flags profile, uninstall the plugin, install it again and accept the profile once. |
| SimHub on another PC | Set SimHub host to that PC’s IP address and allow port 18082 through its firewall. |
